At Rock The Track, creating an unforgettable weekend starts with creating a safe one.

Our festival is led by an experienced event management team with decades of experience producing large-scale concerts, motorsports events and public gatherings across Alberta. Long before the gates open, our team works alongside local and provincial emergency partners to develop a comprehensive emergency response plan designed specifically for Rock The Track.

This plan is built in collaboration with key first responders and agencies including RCMP, Alberta Health Services, EMS, Fire Services, the Town of Rimbey, Ponoka County and other emergency management partners to ensure we're prepared for a wide range of situations.

While emergencies are rare, being prepared allows everyone to enjoy the weekend with confidence.

If an Emergency Occurs

Our staff, security personnel and emergency services will provide clear instructions should an emergency or weather event require action.

Please help us by:

• Listen to Festival Staff & Security
  Follow instructions from organizers, security personnel and emergency responders immediately. They are trained to guide guests safely and efficiently.

• Stay Calm
  Remaining calm helps everyone move safely and allows emergency personnel to do their jobs effectively. Please avoid running or creating unnecessary panic.

• Follow Official Festival Updates
  The quickest way to receive accurate information is through Rock The Track's official social media channels, video screens and stage announcements. Rumours spread quickly—always rely on official festival communications. The event's emergency communications plan uses public announcements and official social media to keep attendees informed.

• Transportation is Available
  If an evacuation or site closure becomes necessary, additional shuttle transportation has been arranged to assist guests. Please do not drive if you have been consuming alcohol. Our team will help ensure everyone has a safe way to leave the festival grounds.

Weather Happens

Rock The Track is an outdoor Alberta festival, and weather conditions can change quickly. Our operations team actively monitors weather throughout the event and works with emergency management partners to make informed decisions regarding delays, temporary pauses or evacuations if necessary. Guest safety will always come first.
